Yoke represents the connection and balance between client and
architect, landscape and architecture.
Based in Queenstown, Yoke creates beautiful, highly refined design
outcomes. The studio specialises in residential design, and we are
involved in a variety of project typologies in New Zealand and abroad.
Inspired by the beauty of our surroundings, we design spaces that
are in harmony with the landscape, responding thoughtfully to their
environment while reflecting the unique character of their location.
Our design process begins with a detailed exploration of the brief
as spaces, resolving how best to interact, and influence experiences
— both internally and to the landscape beyond. Through these
investigations, we create responses that are authentic, rooted in their
context, and designed to endure.
Our boutique studio thrives on close collaboration. This approach
allows us to remain deeply involved in every detail and stage of the
process and draw from our combined knowledge and skill sets to
deliver unique, bespoke outcomes that also retain a simple, buildable
approach and client-centric outcomes.
Emphasising both architecture and interiors, we approach each
project as a tailored outcome, creating spaces that matter.
